Energy Efficiency Projects in Ukraine

The Project “School of Energy 2.0”: our children know it better! Event Date: 19.05.2017

19 May 2017, Kherson

On 19 May 2017 at 12:00 at the premises of the “Green School” of  Antonivka School #21 (Antonivka, 2 Budonoho st.) within the Project “School of Energy 2.0” a press-conference devoted to School Energy Days will take place. During the event speakers will present the project “School of Energy” and pupils of the school together with the teacher will tell about the specifics of the project implementation in their school and demonstrate the tools and approaches which make them young energy auditors and energy managers.

The Project “School of Energy 2.0” is implemented by the Association “ by the Association “Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine” (EECU), supported by the project “Establishment of Energy Agencies in Ukraine”, implemented by „Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH“ on behalf of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety.

Project duration: December 2016 – December 2017.

15 schools from all over Ukraine were selected to participate in the Project.

The project aims at improving energy efficiency and energy saving in schools by introducing energy monitoring and energy management; raising awareness among students, transferring of technical knowledge on energy consumption and disseminating of experience in the local community and other schools and educational institutions.
